What is stored

Poll questions, descriptions, options, the optional organizer name, participant names, and availability votes are stored so the group can use the poll. No account is required. You can optionally email yourself the poll links. Your email address is used only for that send and is not stored in our database or application logs. Resend processes the address and message for delivery under its own privacy policy.

Private links

Organizer and participant edit links contain secret capability tokens. The server stores token hashes, not the original tokens. A participant’s edit token is kept in this browser’s local storage so they can return to their response. You can also copy a private edit link; its token is in the URL fragment and is not sent in the HTTP request. Do not share private links with anyone you do not trust.

Retention and deletion

Poll data is not deleted automatically. A voting deadline can close a poll, but does not delete it. The organizer can permanently delete a poll and all its responses from the private organizer page. Participants can delete their own response from the poll page while their private edit link is available. Deleting a browser’s local storage removes the saved edit token, but does not delete the response from the poll.

Third-party services

DM Sans and Fraunces are bundled with the app and served from this website. Your browser does not contact Google to load fonts. The app does not include advertising or analytics trackers.

For a privacy request, contact the person who created the poll and ask them to remove it.
